How long does a Guardian Pool Fence installation take?

Our installation process takes an average of 4 daylight hours, but timing can vary depending on the length of your fence and the surface of your deck. You do not need to be present for the duration of your installation and our team only require access to the outdoor area where your fence will be installed. Your Guardian customer service representative will discuss the details of your installation and accommodate your schedule as best they can.

Can my child (5 and under) can climb the fence?

o. Guardian’s mesh, fence, and gate are designed so children are unable to gain enough leverage at any point of the fence to climb over it. The size of the holes in our mesh fabric is so small (0.25″ x 0.25″ inch) that fingers and cannot fit through. Also, neither our fence nor patented gate contains a crossbar of any kind that a child could potentially use to pull or push themselves over. Because there is no place on the fence where a child can grip or gain leverage, it is extremely unlikely that a child would be able to climb the fence. If your child likes to climb, we recommend keeping your patio furniture inside the fenced area so they do not use a chair or table to boost themselves over the fence. If you have more than one child under 5, we recommend getting a minimum of a 4 & 1/2 foot tall fence as children will sometimes use one another as leverage to get over the fence. After a professional Guardian representative has helped you determine the appropriate height of your fence, it will be very unlikely for a child under the age of 5 to be able to climb our mesh fence without the assistance of outdoor furniture or another child.
